Children's Views

Recently we asked the children what they thought of their homework. Of the children that were asked all children thought that homework was a good idea. They also liked the idea of having a weekly piece of homework and a longer period of time to complete the termly challenges. Some of the quotes from the children can be seen below:

"Termly challenges are great!"

"Research homework is really good, especially when you use it in your own work in school because it makes your work more unique."

"I like homework because it lets you show your parents what you have been doing at school."

"It's important to know how to work on your own as when you are an adult you have to do this and so homework lets you practice the skill of working on your own."

"It's extra time to practice something and get it if you didn't get it before."

"Sheets are good as you can concentrate on one thing at a time and get it right."
